National Colour Coding
The National Colour coding was introduced in 2016 primarily to assist in the control of cross-contamination of bacteria, viruses etc, transferring from high-risk areas to low-risk areas during cleaning procedures.
The code was developed to support the National Patient Safety Agency. National Colour Coding System relied on four core colours - red, blue, green, and yellow. It was recommended that all NHS facilities adopt this code as a standard code of practice.
Bradfield Property Management decided to introduce the National Colour Coding for commercial premises as our standard code of practice in 2017.
